December 2021,HobsStayBusy started making beats more consistently and during the process started showing Avatar some snippets, within a short time 3-4 beats were picked and Avatar started writing to them. Surprisingly but not surprised(as Avatar was always a stay busy kind of guy) they got recorded real quick and it started the idea of a project, perhaps an EP together.

Hobs Stayed Busy and continued to make more beats, showing more snippets, Avatar kept finding more that he liked and the tracks kept building and the concept of the project was figured out-ODD MAN OUT-was the title. Hobs instantly put some visuals for a cover together and it was set and the concept grew with the tracks, bringing a cohesive vibe to the project.

There was no stress or rush on this project, it moved naturally and when the energy was right. As it moved threw 2022 with rough drafts and more ideas for songs, eventually in 2023 the project was up to 11 tracks-one which is a super action packed posse cut, and was gearing up to finished most likely by Fall 2023.

With sad news August 10th it was announced that Avatar(Rob Wendt) had passed.

Hobs StayBusy was devastated-as were so many others.
Knowing the energy Avatar put into this project and how excited Hobs StayBusy was to Produce this project for him, Hobs gathered the drafts of all the tracks and set out to do what was needed to get it to a more finalized product.

It took some time to heal, to process, and gather the energy to finish this project without Avatar.With the support of a handful of real good people and the honor of Avatar,Hobs is honored to present this work of art and sound and real life expression to those who loved and respected Avatar.
